As companies as well as people have developed and moved on
with the technology age it means that companies such as banks make even the
most complicated tasks into simple ones that can be completed over the
Internet. This
means that people can access and look at the bank account and even transfer
money from one account to another on their phones! Just a few years ago nobody
would have thought that such a previously complex and lengthy task to complete
could now be done so quickly and easily, not just on the computer but on our
phones as well!
Not just this, but it is also possible now to shop on your
phone as most shops now have apps for android and ios phones as they are
reaching out to the teenagers who like to shop and browse on the websites quite
a lot of the time. Due to people becoming more independent as technology has
developed it means that tasks such as banking and shopping over the internet
has become a lot easier and therefore a lot more people are opting to do so.
I agree with you that it's a great advance in technology, but I think there are some disadvantages, such as the high street shops potentially closing down due to their profits being taken by online retailers.

ReplyDeleteI agree and disagree with this post. I think that online shopping is a great way of purchasing items which will then be delivered quickly to your house or wherever. However, I also think that it is bad because you don't communicate with anyone in this process, which is anti social.
ReplyDeleteI think that online shopping is very important in modern society as it makes it a lot easier for busy families to get the shopping in to the house without the stress of going to a super market. Although their are a lot of disadvantages to online shopping and banking as people can get hold of your information and use it with ease.
ReplyDeleteI agree with what you all say, and yes, the high street shops are losing business and suffering because of how usable the internet now is, leaving people more antisocial and the shops without business. I did not consider that people can get hold of your information, and it is a very good point I agree with you and it is a very risky factor that should be watched.
